Alison is a Leeds based actor, singer and musician with experience in all genres of performance; theatre, musical theatre, pantomime, television, feature films, short films, commercials, music videos and corporate films. She is a strong actor/musician and regular combines her skills to sing or play instruments alongside her acting work.

Swallows and Amazons has been delighting West End audiences and critics alike since opening on 15th December 2011.

Based on the much-loved book by Arthur Ransome, this delightful and gloriously imaginative production is directed by Tom Morris, co-director of the National Theatre's Tony Award-winning smash hit War Horse and Artistic Director of Bristol Old Vic where the show premiered to critical acclaim in 2010. Swallows and Amazons is written by Helen Edmundson who adapted the National's acclaimed Coram Boy, with music by Neil Hannon of The Divine Comedy. A co-production by The National Theatre in association with the Children's Touring Partnership and Bristol Old Vic.

The show has now completed it's sell out run at the Vaudeville Theatre in London's West End and has begun its UK National Tour starting with Chichester, Edinburgh, Nottingham, Coventry and High Wycombe. For tickets and further production information please visit Swallows and Amazons.
